Cristian is the OCC Port Officer Representative in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In May 2024 Porto Alegre was hit with the worst, deadliest and most devastating floods since the history of the city. Cristian was a leading force in the rescue efforts started by the local sailing clubs named "Velejadores solidarios" or "Support by Sailors" - literally saving lives.
