Pam MacBrayne & Denis Moonan

Pam and Denis have volunteered their enthusiastic organizational and leadership skills to the OCC as Regional Rear Commodores from 2015 to 2017 and subsequently served as Roving Rear Commodores while crossing the Pacific.

Pam and Denis have organized many Maine Rallies and Cruises, especially when they were RRCs. And last year (2023), they “came out of retirement” to help organize another successful Maine Rally at the last minute. Their passion for the OCC is infectious and has led many cruisers to join the club. Pam and Denis are natural leaders and organizers wherever they wind up – on land or at sea – and are greatly respected in the many communities touched by their welcoming and caring attitude.

The Ocean Cruising Club congratulates Pam & Denis on this honor and looks forward to many more years of their thoughtful contributions and friendships with cruisers worldwide.
