received a cheque for £10 (the equivalent of about £206 in early 2020) from the OCC Award Prize Fund for his ingenious TRI-JIB, described in the Minutes of the 1958 AGM as “eminently suitable for small yachts where the stowage of many sails presents considerable problems”.
