Who better than John Franklin to win this award, for his enormous contribution to the new online cruising information for the Caribbean area? He has worked his way through the countries and islands of this area editing what there is and adding new information. Not only has John done all this, but has also added greatly to the safety and enjoyment of OCC members and others in the Caribbean as controller of the OCC Caribbean Net.

Unsurprisingly he received huge applause from all members present as he accepted his award. Afterwards he claimed that he didn’t know what all the fuss was about as he was only doing what he enjoyed.
