For becoming the first woman to sail solo non-stop around the world in both directions. Dee was sorry not to be at the Awards Ceremony, but did write to express her delight at receiving such an award from the OCC and thanked the Club for honouring her. She is currently in Spain preparing for the Barcelona World Race.
