John and Jean Armitage

John and Jean Armitage stepped forward to receive their award for completing a 14 year circumnavigation. During that time they contributed a number of articles to Flying Fish and shared their experiences with all members. John explained that the original plan was just to go cruising for a year or so, but then they decided that actually they quite enjoyed it, so carried on and visited more than 48 countries.
