Paddy Barry & Jarlath Cunnane

(s/v Northabout) for their successful transit of the North West Passage in the 15m NORTHABOUT, a 7800 mile voyage which took in Greenland, the Davis Strait, Baffin Bay, Lancaster Sound, the Canadian and Alaskan Arctic coastline and islands, the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas and the Bering Strait. Paddy’s account of the voyage, ‘North West Passage’, and Jarlath’s of ‘Communications on Northabout’ both appeared in FF 2002/1.
