A great evening for OCC folk this Wednesday in Falmouth Antigua. Barton Cup winners Megan, Jonathon and Ronan told of their past and planned icey adventures. Annie and Hugh announced they had just closed the loop on their circumnavigation. Dick and Guy reminisced about Cocos Keeling and South Africa. Long John Silver arrived in Banjul yesterday.
Manon Zwart Clearance went very smoothly thanks to the great help of Muhammed Keita. OCC-port officer Sey Samba put us in contact with him. After all formalities, we visited Samba in his home next to the port. Now we are anchored at Lamin Lodge and ready to get to know The Gambia. From Manon Swart
OCC Get-Together in Whangarei, New Zealand
Anette Rhodin A big fun OCC lunch gathering here in Whangarei last Saturday. Dave Mary Berg, OCC PO in Whangarei, served delicious lamb on the BBQ. Thank You so much for that! Lots of sides were provided by all participants. Weather cooperated and it was all fun and laughter. A special thanks to Viki Moore, OCC PO for the South Island, who specially flew up for this event. So Exciting to have my first 2023 southbound OCC cruisers coming through Beaufort NC: Asta (Lesley & Hartley) & Stellina (Steve & Angela). We had a great local seafood lunch at a iconic Beaufort restaurant.
