This iconic ocean cruising yacht La Aventura has been continuously invested in, kept up-to-date, well maintained and looked after throughout the 23 years with the current ownership.

The present owners, since purchasing La Aventura from Jimmy Cornell in 1995, have sailed to 73 countries and covered approx. 50,000 miles. All passages have been without additional crew and sailed just two handed.

Their adventures includes a circumnavigation of the UK, and north for 2 seasons in the Baltic, Eastern Europe and into St Petersburg, Russia – before sailing into the Med in 2000, to spend 11 summers. One of their highlights was being participants in the 2010 Eastern Mediterranean Rally from Turkey including Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon and Israel.

In January 2012 La Aventura crossed her track back to the Canaries and then across the Atlantic to the Eastern Caribbean. The last 6 years have been spent exploring the Eastern and Western Caribbean, Panama, Cuba and east coast USA.

Family health issues have now led to her sale. La Aventura is now back in the UK, having completed a voyage from the Western Caribbean, back across the Atlantic via Bermuda and the Azores.
