As I am sure you know, the yacht Cheeki Rafiki and her crew of 4 are missing in the north Atlantic. We are contacting all boats and organisations we know of to ask if there are any boats currently at sea which may be able to assist?

ARC Europe yacht MALISI is currently in the prediction area of drift and sailing a search pattern. If more boats are able to sail through the zone en route to the Azores, then we have more chance of finding the crew.

Malisi Position at: 20 May 2014 12:00 UTC
Lat/Lon: 38° 24.55 N, 048° 50.71 W
Please share this appeal with any other boats at sea and if they are able to assist, advise This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will pass their details to other boats in the area.

Here is an email from one of the crew's family received today.
"My name is Claire Goslin and I am the daughter of one of the missing 'Cheeki Rafiki' crew members (Paul Goslin). I have seen your news that Patrick Michel on board Malisi is within the search area and has begun a search pattern for my dad and his fellow crew members! I just want to say a MASSIVE thank you!! I cannot tell you the comfort and hope it brings knowing that there are people out there searching for them!!"

Thank you for your help.
Best regard

Sadly, Cheeki Rafiki has been found by the USCG with intact and undeployed liferaft on board. The search has been called off. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to the family and friends of the crew.
