Honorary OCC Member Jon Sanders en route to completing his 10th Circumnavigation

By Daria Blackwell - 20/08/2017

It seems like Noumea bought Jon some excitement in more ways than one. Jon is planning on leaving Noumea to head back towards Australia water with the plan on arriving in Bundaberg early the following week - we'll keep you updated as we hear more.

Thirty years ago, on the 29th of May 1987 - Day 370, John Sanders completed a triple circumnavigation. But he didn't stop there. He's still on the move.

The OCC supports Jon's efforts to complete his 10th circumnavigation, a feat no one has even come close to. Port Officer Miles Sutherland-Pilch greeted Jon in Virgin Gorda and presented him with a new OCC burgee, as his was tattered after so many miles at sea.
